Relativistic Study of Medium Polarization Effects on Superfluidity in Nuclear Matter
arXiv:nucl-th/9712060
Abstract
Effects of the Fermi-sea polarization on the superfluidity in nuclear matter are studied in a framework of quantum hadrodynamics. The particle-hole polarization due to $Ï$ and $Ï$ mesons enhances the peak value of the pairing gap contrary to the previous non-relativistic studies.
