On the stability of Quantum Hadro-Dynamics

Abstract
We explore the possible occurrence of $Ï$-$Ï$ condensation in the Quantum Hadro-Dynamics (QHD), namely the Serot and Walecka model, finding that at the mean field level it corresponds to a critical value of the coupling constant $g_Ï=8.828$ and density $k_F=207.2$ MeV/c, significantly below the standard value of QHD.
