Direct CP violation in B \to Ï^0(Ï) PS

Abstract
We calculate the direct CP violating asymmetry parameter, $a_{CP}$, for $B \to Ï^{+} Ï^{-} Ï$ and $B \to Ï^{+} Ï^{-} K$ decays, in the case where $Ï^0-Ï$ mixing effects are taken into account. We find that the direct CP asymmetry for $B^{-} \to Ï^{+} Ï^{-} Ï^{-}$, $\bar{B}^{0} \to Ï^{+} Ï^{-}Ï^{0}$, $B^{-} \to Ï^{+} Ï^{-} K^{-}$ and $\bar{B}^{0} \to Ï^{+} Ï^{-}\bar{K}^{0}$, reaches its maximum when the invariant mass $Ï^{+} Ï^{-}$ is in the vicinity of the $Ï$ meson mass. The inclusion of $Ï^0-Ï$ mixing provides an opportunity to erase, without ambiguity, the phase uncertainty mod$(Ï)$ in the determination of the CKM angles $α$ in case of $b\to u$ and $γ$ in case of $b \to s$.
