Measurements of $B \to X_s γ$ and Study of $B \to X_s l^+ l^-$

Abstract
The updated CLEO measurement of the electromagnetic penguin process $B \to X_s γ$ is presented and compared to the ALEPH result. Implications on new physics are discussed and the status of recent searches for $B \to X_s l^+ l^-$ modes is given.
