Non-baryonic dark matter searches

Abstract
The emphasis in this review about non-baryonic dark matter will be on experimental approaches to this fast evolving field of astroparticle physics, especially the direct detection method. The current status of experimental techniques will be reviewed and recent highlights as well as future plans will be introduced.
