Abstract
I give a brief introduction to lattice QCD for non-specialists.
Lecture notes, based on lectures at the 54th Cracow School of Theoretical Physics (Zakopane, Poland), the Helmholtz international summer school "Lattice QCD, Hadron Structure and Hadronic Matter" (Dubna, Russia) and the 26th Belgian-Dutch-German graduate school in particle physics (Kerkerade, Netherlands). 67 pages, 36 figures v2: changed layout and reference style. one typo corrected
