Photoproduction and mixing effects of scalar a0 and f0 mesons

Abstract

The photoproduction processes gp-->a0(980)p and gp-->f0(980)p at energies close to threshold are considered. These reactions are studied in the ππp, πηp, and K-barK p channels. Production cross sections are estimated in different models. The role of the a0^0-f0 mixing is examined in the invariant ππ-,πη-, and K-barK-mass spectra.
