Abstract
We present results of a study of the decay $J/Ï\rightarrowÏηÏ^+Ï^-$ using a sample of $(225.2\pm2.8)\times10^6$ $J/Ï$ events collected by the BESIII detector, and report the observation of a new process of $J/Ï\rightarrow ÏX(1870)$ in which X(1870) decays to $a_0(980)Ï$. The statistical significance of this process is larger than $7.2Ï$. Signals for $J/Ï\rightarrow Ïf_1(1285)$ and $J/Ï\rightarrow Ïη(1405)$ are also observed in $ηÏ^+Ï^-$ spectrum, with statistical significances much larger than $10Ï$.
